Day one of the Grant Trophy saw a 10-15 knots building North wind that shifted East as the day went on. Eight races were sailed per division and six more races were scheduled for Sunday. Racing began with race 9A in ESE breeze at 5-15 kts. Teams competed until around 4:00 pm and there was vast improvement across the board. From start to finish it was very competitive, even middle/back of the pack had numerous photo finishes. Races were either a W4 or W3 depending on the wind which ended up being very shifty towards by the end of the Sunday.
