The day started with a 10:30 report time as teams arrived and got their boats ready. There was some fog early in the morning, but it slowly burned off and the conditions improved. By 11:15 the first race was able to get started and teams headed out onto the water.
The races were short, usually lasting about 7–10 minutes, which kept things moving throughout the day. With the quick races, teams were constantly rotating in and out, and sailors had to stay focused and make quick decisions. Overall it was a solid day on the water with good conditions that gave everyone a chance to get a lot of racing and good development in.
