The game kicked off at an early 10:30 AM with Stevens asserting dominance from the start, controlling possession and attacking aggressively. This dominance led to Steven's first goal of the match scored by Grant Miller off of a through ball from Andrew Lambert. Followed up by Anthony Esteves scoring a clinical finish from inside the box as well as Ivan Valchuk scoring a well placed shot at top of the box in the first half. In the second half, Stevens maintained their lead with a solid defensive performance. However, a defensive lapse allowed Montclair to capitalize and score. Despite this setback, Stevens held firm and secured a 3-1 victory.
