Stevens B started the day playing against Rowan B.
Ryan Martinez fought hard and scored many points through serves and good sets for his teammates. But, Stevens B wasn't able to win, 25-20. The second set went poorly for Stevens B as they couldn't seem to bounce back after a loss and proceeded to lose, 25-13.
Stevens B entered the Freedom Division playoffs and played against Rowan B again for their first match. Stevens B found momentum behind
Justin Lu's swings and defense in order to win the first set in a close fight, 25-21. In the second set Stevens B had a surge of points because of Marc Chesnowitz and
Daniel Ingwer's ability to score and block at the net. However, Stevens B still lost the set 25-22. In the third set, Stevens B had to find a way to rally and win in order to make this trip successful.
Robert Nelson provided a huge boost to the team morale because of his ability to score. Stevens B had a 14-11 lead against Rowan B, but they started to falter and fall short. Rowan was able to score two straight points and forced Stevens B to call a timeout. The Ducks came out that timeout ready to score and finish the set, however they weren't able to and lost two more points to be at a disadvantage of 15-14. But,
Shawn Aviles played incredible defense and allowed Stevens B to have a back and forth battle against Rowan B. In the end, Stevens B was able to win 24-22.
Stevens B now qualified for the finals against Stockton B. Kritin Rane had a couple high flying kills and blocks. But Stevens B was so exhausted from the last game that they lost 25-17. In the last set of the day, Stevens B was led by Alex Adair's defense as he had many passes to keep Stevens B afloat, however they were unable to win and lost in the finals, 25-15. With this loss, their 2024-25 season came to a close.
