Stevens women's soccer delivered a strong road performance Sunday afternoon, earning a 2–0 victory over Manhattan University in a competitive matchup in The Bronx.
From the opening whistle, the Ducks played with confidence and looked to establish control through possession. Stevens moved the ball effectively through the midfield, using quick combinations and patient buildup to create opportunities in the attacking third. The Ducks' defense also remained organized early, limiting Manhattan's ability to build sustained pressure.
Stevens created the first dangerous chance of the afternoon in the opening 10 minutes, when a quick passing sequence sent the Ducks forward into the Manhattan penalty area. The resulting shot was saved by the Manhattan goalkeeper, but Stevens continued to apply pressure and force the hosts to defend deep.

Manhattan responded by pushing higher up the field and began to generate more possession. The Stevens back line remained composed, communicating well and closing down passing lanes before the hosts could create clear scoring opportunities.
