Stevens women's soccer battled through a tightly contested 90 minutes Friday evening, earning a 2–1 road victory over Manhattan University in a competitive matchup.

From the opening whistle, the Ducks played with energy and composure, looking to establish possession and dictate the pace of the match. Stevens moved the ball confidently through the midfield and used quick combinations on both sides of the field to create space against the Manhattan defense. The Ducks also remained organized defensively, limiting the hosts' opportunities to build dangerous attacks.

Stevens created the first significant chance of the evening in the opening 12 minutes. A well-executed passing sequence through the midfield allowed the Ducks to advance into the attacking third, where a Stevens forward fired a shot toward the far corner. The Jaspers earned one final opportunity in stoppage time, but the Stevens defense closed down the play before Manhattan could get a clean shot on goal. The final whistle soon followed, giving the Ducks a hard-fought 2–1 victory on the road.

Overall, Stevens delivered a resilient performance away from home, combining effective possession, disciplined defending, and timely finishing. After Manhattan equalized late in the first half, the Ducks responded strongly after halftime and found the decisive goal in the 61st minute. Stevens remained composed under pressure throughout the closing stages to secure the 2–1 road victory.
