The Stevens Institute of Technology club baseball team dropped both games of a doubleheader against Stony Brook, as the Ducks were limited offensively in the opening contest before showing improved production in the finale.
In game one, Stevens fell 6–0 and struggled to generate offense, managing just four hits against a strong Stony Brook pitching performance. The Ducks were unable to sustain any consistent pressure at the plate and were held scoreless throughout the game.
In the second matchup, Stevens showed greater offensive balance but ultimately fell 11–6. The Ducks recorded hits from seven different players, including a multi-hit performance from Bobby Gallo. While Stevens was able to generate more consistent offense compared to the opener, Stony Brook's attack proved too much to overcome over the course of the game.
Despite the results, the Ducks continued to battle throughout both contests and will look to regroup moving forward as they prepare for their doubleheader matchup next weekend at Princeton.
