Stevens Defeats Drexel 4-2 Behind Strong Offensive Performance

Stevens delivered an impressive performance on home ice on October 23, 2026, earning a 4-2 victory over Drexel in an action-packed matchup. After falling behind early, the Ducks responded with consistent offensive pressure, timely scoring, and a strong performance in net to secure the win.

Drexel opened the scoring in the first period when W. Silberman found the back of the net to give the visitors an early 1-0 advantage. Stevens answered quickly, however, as K. Rabkin scored the equalizer off an assist from S. Tobin, bringing the game back to even and giving the Ducks momentum heading into the remainder of the opening period.

Stevens carried that momentum into the second period, where the offense began to find its rhythm. K. McNamara scored to give the Ducks their first lead of the night, putting Stevens ahead 2-1. The Ducks continued to apply pressure, and B. Ventresca added another goal to extend the advantage to 3-1.

Drexel refused to back down and responded with a goal from E. Eisler, cutting the Stevens lead to 3-2 and keeping the game competitive. With the margin narrowed to one, the Ducks needed a strong finish to maintain their advantage.

Stevens delivered in the third period when K. McNamara scored his second goal of the night, extending the lead to 4-2. B. Ventresca recorded the assist on the goal, contributing to a productive night for the Stevens offense. McNamara's second tally gave the Ducks some breathing room as they looked to close out the contest.

On the defensive end, Stevens goalkeeper Jack Cozine played a key role in preserving the lead. Cozine turned away 26 of Drexel's 28 shots on goal, making important saves throughout the game to help prevent the Dragons from mounting a late comeback.

After conceding the opening goal, Stevens responded with four goals of its own and maintained control through the final period. With contributions from Rabkin, McNamara, and Ventresca, along with a strong performance from Cozine in net, the Ducks secured a convincing 4-2 home victory over Drexel.
