Ducks Win Big on Senior Night

The Ducks got off to a quick start on the big night with a goal from #14 Maciej Kowalczyk assisted by #9 Nicolas Dupuis and #23 Tyler Buss. Lafayette then scored on a power play at 17:56. Lafayette followed up strongly with a short handed goal at 16:50 left in the period. The Ducks responded with a power play goal at 15:55 by #19 Thomas Bissailon assisted by #90 David Canales and #72 Kevin McNamara. #2 Dylan Faulhaber followed with a goal at 12:31 assisted by McNamara. On another power play, Canales managed to bury another goal for Stevens assisted by Faulhaber. Lafayette continued to fight back and scored another goal at 4:19 left in the first period. Once again at the end of the period the Ducks saw another goal from Canales from Faulhaber. The first period ended 5-3 with the Ducks in the lead. Dupuis started off the second period with a short handed goal from McNamara. Lafayette responded with a goal at 15:21 left in the second. Kowalczyk scored his second of the game at 12:20 with assists from #8 Paul Golembiewski and Dupuis. At 9:56 #17 Lance Decandia scored with assists from #24 Thomas Vella and McNamara. Canales secured his hat trick at 8:03 with assists from #15 Lucas Cunnane and #77 Cameron McIntyre. Golembiewski scored at 6:18 with assists from Kowalczyk and #22 Ryan Thornton. #12 Nick Adams ended the second period with a goal assisted by Cunnane and Faulhaber. The third period started with a short handed goal from Canales, assisted by Faulhaber and McNamara. The Ducks then let up 2 goals at 16:22 and 9:19. With his second goal of the game, Dupuis scored an unassisted goal at 6:56. Also with his second of the game Faulhaber buried one from Canales and #21 Hayden Fitzpatrick. Dupuis then secured his hat trick at 3:33 left in the game assisted by Kowalczyk. With the final goal of the game McIntyre sniped the goalie from the point assisted by Canales and Adams. The game finished 16-6. Congrats to all the seniors!
