Fordham got off to an early lead with a goal about 3 minutes into the game. This was followed shortly after by Stevens goal by #90 David Canales assisted by #2 Dylan Faulhaber and #15 Lucas Cunnane. The Rams scored another goal to leave the first period 2-1. Once again in the second period Fordham scores in the first 3 minutes and again 7 minutes into the period. Stevens continues to fight back with a goal from Faulhaber at 11:36 assisted by Cunnane and #12 Nick Adams. Fordham finished the period strong leaving the second period with a score of 5-2. With 16:00 left in the game, the Rams furthered their lead with another goal. The Ducks continued to fight and create opportunities, starting with a power play goal from Faulhaber at 11:45 assisted by Canales. #14 Maciej Kowalczyk continued pushing for the Ducks with an unassisted goal. In a last ditch effort, the Adams scored a goal with three seconds left assisted by #8 Paul Golembiewski that left the final score 6-5.
