11/8 Rutgers University started strong, establishing an early lead with multiple goals in the first two periods. Stevens responded with a solid effort to keep up, scoring their first goal in the second period with a power-play effort by #90 David Canales, assisted by #2 Dylan Faulhaber and #72 Kevin McNamara. In the third period, Stevens continued to press offensively. #2 Dylan Faulhaber scored at 10:03 with an assist from #13 Bernard Vitale. A minute later, Stevens capitalized on another power play, as #8 Paul Golembiewski found the net, assisted by #19 Tom Bissaillon and #14 Maciej Kowalczyk. Shortly after, #21 Hayden Fitzpatrick added a goal, assisted by Vitale and Canales. Finally, Faulhaber scored again on a power play in the closing minute, assisted by Vitale. Despite their scoring efforts, Stevens couldn't match Rutgers' momentum, who responded with two late goals in the 3rd to bring the game to a final score of 8-5. The Ducks return to play on the 9th taking on division 2 competitor Drexel University, hoping to pick up a big win at home.
