Ducks Fall in Atlantic City

10.31.24

The Ducks traveled down to Atlantic City to take on the Stockton Osprey. Brenden Breschard got his second start of the weekend and held the Ducks in the game.  The first period was hard fought resulting in no score for either team. Stockton broke the deadlock early in the second, with Aiden Cavendish scoring the game-winning goal at 17:17, assisted by Brooks Hradek. Hradek quickly followed up with a goal of his own at 13:08, supported by Mickenzie Restle, to extend Stockton's lead. Another Stockton goal at 8:26 by Devin Metz, assisted by Matthew Flynn, left the Ducks trailing 3-0 as they headed into the third. The Ducks fought hard to turn the game around, but Stockton's Mickenzie Restle secured the final goal at 16:28, again assisted by Flynn. Stevens was unable to capitalize on opportunities, ultimately falling 4-0. Stevens returns to league play next weekend facing Hofstra and Stonybrook University.
