Montclair got off to a hot start as they scored 5 runs in the first inning against pitcher Greg Bender. Bender would only pitch one more inning before being taken out of the game. Stevens used 4 pitchers in the 5 innings of this game. The defense made 8 errors which sent Montclair running around the bases. Montclair's pitcher struck out 8 batters in 5 innings for a complete game shutout. Stevens lost to Montclair in mercy fashion. Final Score: 10-0.
