Women's Club Soccer VS. Saint John’s on Oct.6th

This past weekend, Steven's Women's Club Soccer team played an away game against Saint John's University at Saint John's home field. It was a tough game. Both teams did not have many subs but kept playing their best. Saint John's got a couple shots off against Stevens, but Gianna (the Stevens goalie) stopped every ball. The first half ended 0-0. During the beginning of the second half, Hailey Tanner dribbled the ball up the field and passed to Jente Visser. Jente took her shot right at the top of the box and scored. Only a couple minutes passed and Jente gets the ball again and scores. Towards the end of the half, Saint John's managed to score a goal. However this only motivated Stevens to play harder and keep Saint John's our of their half. Steven's ended up with the win (2-1).
