The Stevens Institute of Technology Lifting Team delivered an exceptional performance at the PA JDI Uptown Open Powerlifting Meet held in Manhattan, earning distinction as the Best Male Team of the competition. The team demonstrated remarkable strength and depth across multiple weight classes, achieving numerous podium finishes.

In the Men's RAW Junior 66 kg division, Aditya Kumaran secured a first-place finish and the gold medal. Stevens continued its strong showing in the 74 kg division, where Sameer Sethuram captured first place, followed by Edward Lockie in second and Jack Messina in third.

The team's success extended into the 83 kg division, with Shawn Karaty earning first place, Ovidiu Belu taking second, and Matthew Garcia placing third. Additional contributions came from Samuel Franco Diaz, who finished fourth, and Aaron Nathans, who placed fifth.

This performance underscores the Stevens Lifting Team's competitive excellence and reinforces its position as a leading force in collegiate powerlifting.
