The Ducks win 2 games in a row!
The Ducks took on Hofstra at home for their first home game in a while. 20 seconds into the game, Stevens captain #2, Dylan Faulhaber, takes a penalty for tripping. Shortly after the penalty was killed off, #93 Max Tucker takes a penalty for roughing. Though the circumstances, stevens manages to start the scoring game with one 7 minutes in by #2 Dylan Faulhaber, assisted by #18 Alex Carey. Hofstra seems unable to answer, and let up another goal by Stevens' #18 Alex Carey, assisted by Dylan Faulhaber. With 5 minutes left in the period, Hofstra finds one to make it a 2-1 game, however Ducks' Alex doesn't let this go unnoticed, and shortly buries another one of his own to make it a 3-1 game leaving the first period. The second period was nothing but domination for the Ducks. With penalties going both ways, Stevens finds 2 short-handed goals, one from #18, and one from #2. With one more goal from #2, both Dylan and Alex complete their hat trick. The cherry on top, #19 Stavros Korres finds the top left of the net and finds one for his first career goal. Hofstra barely sees the back of the net until the last minutes of the game, ending the night with a 7-2 win for Stevens.
