Stevens Club Sailing had a great day at the Stony Brook Cup regatta, enjoying the 70-degree weather in Port Jefferson. This was the team's first regatta of the season, after only being able to fit in one practice due to weather. The team fought hard through gusty conditions that left many boats capsized. Stevens' only capsize of the day happened on the last leg of a race, but with the boat ahead of them capsizing as well, Stevens was able to hold their position for a solid finish. Stevens placed 7th in the regatta overall with 10 teams competing, a solid start to the season!
