February 9th - 
Rail Jam:
Skiers
It was an untraditional rail jam on the final day of competition. Our athletes were given
45 minutes to perform their best trick, all on the same feature, a pipe-style rail. All divisions
went at the same time with no traditional finals. Even so, Lucas Hope, Logan Hickey, Aiden
Giordano, Nicholas Plaskon, Tyler Housel, and Dean Fillipone were all given the placement of
20th. Ashton Merkert-Kuzman, Alex Coroian, Noah Czuj, and Isabella Vena were unfortunately
not given a placement in this untraditional competition.
Snowboarders
Our snowboarders were able to hold their own on this final rail jam. For our men,
Christopher Bartell placed 8th and William Bany Placed 12th. For our women, Julia Reznik
placed 6th and Eva Baker impressed the judges with her performance, earning her 1st place.
Awards:
We had one athlete on the podium for freestyle! Eva Baker placed 3rd overall this season for
women's freestyle snowboarding. Congratulations Eva!

Giant Slalom:
Men
The Stevens athletes came out strong for their final day of racing this season. Leading the
men's division was once again this time achieving 18th overall was Brain Williams with a
combined time of 1:16.10. Connor Magee was once again close behind, earning 21st. Roy Tas
placed 27th place and Miguel Aguirre, Brian Galasso, and Gabriel Malek followed achieving
placements of 48th, 50th, and 52nd, respectively. Unfortunately, Micheal Folmer and Pavel
Ryutov were unable to complete their runs.
Women
Unfortunately, due to an icy course, none of our women were able to complete their runs
leaving Aliona Heitz, Alice Zaytseva, and Viktoria Matysiak with a DNF.
Snowboarders
Rounding out the final day of Giant Slolum were our snowboard racers. Jenn Alexander
placed 3rd in the women's division with a combined time of 1:33.14. Christopher Bartell was
able to secure 4th with a time of 1:27.10.
Awards:
We had one athlete make the podium for racing this year! Jenn Alexander placed 3rd overall this
season for women's snowboard racing. Congratulations Jenn!
