In the second game of the season, the Ducks went on the road to play Ramapo. Ramapo scored two quick goals in the first period with 17:15 and 16:50 left in the first period. The Ducks responded with a goal shortly after at 16:33 from #2 Dylan Faulhaber, assisted by #72 Kevin McNamara and #17 Lance DeCandia. Entering the second period, Ramapo scored an unassisted goal at 18:35. DeCandia responded quickly with a goal for Stevens at 8:43, assisted by #27 Derek O'Leary only for it to be followed up by another Ramapo goal 20 seconds after. Ramapo finished the second period with another goal making the score 5-2 in favor of Ramapo going into the third. The game ended 8-2 with three more Ramapo goals in the third period.
