Slopestyle:
Skiers
The Stevens freestyle skiers performed very well on Saturday in the slopestyle
competition. Taking the best score out of two runs Lucas Hope placed 13th overall for our men.
Following him were Nicolas Plaskon, Aidan Giordano, Logan Hickey, and Tyler Housel in 17th,
20th, 33rd, and 38th respectively. Noah Czuj and Alex Coroian also competed as freestylers, but
unfortunately did not receive a placement. For our women, Isabella Vena put up a great
performance, earning her 11th overall.

Snowboarders
The snowboarders also performed exceptionally well, with many impressing the judges.
For our men, William Bany and Christopher Bartel both were able to place well earning them 6th
and 9th respectively. In the women's division, Eva Baker was able to place 3rd overall. Madelyn
Pagkalinawan followed close behind in 4th, and then Julia Rezinik was able to secure 8th.

Giant Slalom:
Men
It was another great race weekend for Stevens at Belleayre. On the first day of Giant
Slalom, coming in 17th overall with a combined time of 1:32.08 was Connor Magee. Quickly
following in 22nd place was Brian Williams. Following this was Ashton Merkert-Kuzman, Dean
Fillipone, and Pavel Ryutov coming in 34th, 47th, and 53rd respectively. Finally, Brian Galasso
and Gabriel Malek were placed 54th and 56th for Stevens.
Women
The women had a great showing this weekend with Viktoria Matysiak placing 25th with a
combined time of 1:58.49 Alice Zaytseva and Aliona Heitz followed placing 36th and 37th.
Snowboarders
Finally we come to our snowboard racers. Jenn Alexander put up another impressive
performance placing 4th with a combined time of 2:45.00. Christopher Bartell also placed 4th for
the men with a combined time of 2:36.29.
