The competition was split into 6 categories: Woman's Intermediate, Woman's Advanced, Men's Intermediate, Men's Advanced, Non-binary Intermediate, and Non-binary Advanced. There were no judges so each competitor chose a category and uploaded their scores to the scoring link. Scoring was done using Modified Redpoint, with points being awarded for a Top, a Zone, or a Low Zone. Each competitor had 10 attempts for each of 8 assigned bouldering routes. The competition had a 3 hour long climbing period from 9:30 am-12:30 pm.
