STEVENS TENNIS COURTS

The Tennis Courts operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Participants must create a profile on DSE. Please use this link to create your profile and sign the waiver. The North Courts and UCC Courts will be available for use from 8 am-10 pm. Please note courts will not be accessible during varsity tennis team practices and matches. North courts are swipe-accessible, and UCC courts have lights that will automatically turn off at 10 pm.

STEVENS TENNIS COURTS RULES

  1. The tennis courts are the private property of The Stevens Institute of Technology and are devoted to use for educational and related charitable purposes.
  2. By entering, you agree to engage in only activities that are consistent with these purposes and voluntarily accept the benefits of using the courts.
  3. The tennis courts are for the exclusive use of current Stevens students, faculty, staff, and authorized guests. Anyone using the courts must have a valid Stevens ID card.
  4. Stevens' intercollegiate tennis teams, Physical Education classes, campus recreation activities, and special events will have court usage priority.
  5. Tennis is the only activity permitted on the courts.
  6. Proper attire, including tennis shoes, must be worn at all times.
  7. Any spectator exhibiting poor sportsmanship, such as foul language, disrespectful behavior or comments, or appearing intoxicated, is subject to immediate ejection.
  8. Chewing gum, tobacco products, sunflower seeds, food, alcohol, and beverages other than water or sports drinks are prohibited on the courts.
  9. Pets are not permitted on the courts.
  10. Littering is not permitted.
  11. Climbing the fence or otherwise entering the premises when it is closed is prohibited.
  12. Users are not permitted to prop open the access gate to any of the tennis courts. Those who violate these rules or otherwise damage the courts are subject to immediate ejection from the premises, University discipline, criminal prosecution, and civil liability.
